NEWS
Recently we did the soundtrack
mix for "Limbo" by filmmaker Jörg
Fockele, as well as recording the music cues, penned
by Laurie Lewis of In-Common
Music.
We recently recorded VO's on
an ad for the current MoMA
exhibition: "Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling"
(Paradoxal.net).
Also, chef Michael Symon's VO's for the Food
Network show "Dinner: Impossible" (Shooters
Inc.)
Ellen
Woloshin continues to put the finishing touches
on the vocals for her upcoming CD, also being recorded
and produced by the awesomely talented Kevin
Bents.
Songwriter Nick Hammond was
in to record additional guitars and remix the already
smoking CJ
Vanston arrangement of his song "Save it for a Rainy
Day", featuring vocals by Chesney
Hawkes.
My old friend and colleague
Steve Dwire reports the following:
"Producer Steve Dwire recorded
3 tracks at Jon Gordon Production for former Ms. Teen
Sweden, Sara
Varga's debut album, "Faith Hope & Love"
distributed through Universal Music. Musicians for these
sessions were Tony
Levin, bass, Jerry
Marotta, drums and percussion, Robbie
Kondor, keyboards, Larry Saltzman, guitars and San
Francisco singer/songwriter Mike Brayton background
vocals. Steve produced, arranged and played additional
keyboards, while Jon Gordon engineered, mixed, mastered
and contributed additional guitar."
Recent mastering projects include:
"Hell
and High Water" a haunting set of traditional and
modern fiddle tunes and songs by fiddler Bill Christophersen.
Also "Come Dance With Us" By The First Wave, featuring
keyboardist Rob
Schwimmer and singer Teresa Williams, recorded and
mixed by Lincoln Schliefer.
We are also expecting drummer
Tommy
Igoe and engineer Sean McClintock, for a two day
lockout to finalize the mixes for Tommy's new title
for Hudson
Music.
FOR NERDS
ONLY SECTION
Actually, there is no nerdy news this time out. But
I've grown fond of the section, and hope to expand it
in the future. In the meantime, here's a nerd quiz:
What does "ROTFLMAO" mean?
